Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – todgha gorges – Merzouga
2 days desert tour marrakech to merzouga , will start from hotel in Marrakech and drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning fortified village. After lunch in a traditional restaurant, we continue to Ouarzazate, visiting Kasbah Taourirt and the famous Atlas and CLA Studios, known as the Hollywood of Africa for films like Lawrence of Arabia and Sahara.
The journey continues through the Valley of the Roses, known for rose-based cosmetics, to the Berber village of Dades. Driving the Road of 1000 Kasbahs, we explore scattered Berber villages before reaching the dramatic Todgha Gorges. We then stop in Jorf to see ancient irrigation canals and visit Erfoud, famous for fossils and dates.
In Merzouga, we switch to camels for a trek into the Sahara Desert, where you’ll spend the night in a Nomadic Berber camp. Enjoy dinner under the stars, traditional drumming, and an authentic desert experience.
Day 2 Merzouga – Ouarzazete – Atlas mountains – Marrakech
In the morning, after having a sunrise breakfast, we will break camp and ride our camels out of the desert and back to our original point of departure.
Also you will then travel back to the hotel so that you can shower, have breakfast and collect your luggage before starting on your way back towards Ouarzazate to Marrakech.
We will stop along the route for lunch. You will arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, after a short break, you will continue to Marrakech.
