A Tour marrakech zagora 2 days tour is perfect for those wanting to explore southern Morocco's desert landscapes. The tour begins in Marrakech, a historic city at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. From there, we travel south, passing through the High Atlas Mountains and into the desert. On the first day, we stop at Berber villages and visit the famous Ait Benhaddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After reaching Zagora, you'll have time to relax before embarking on a sunset camel trek into the desert. Your evening will be spent in a traditional desert camp, enjoying a Berber dinner and experiencing the nomadic culture.
On the second day, you will have the opportunity to explore the desert further by camel or on foot. You can visit remote Berber villages, visit ancient kasbahs and perhaps to see some desert oasis before travelling back to Marrakech. This tour is a great way to experience the beauty of the Moroccan desert and get a taste of traditional Berber culture. It offers a great balance of guided activities and free time to explore on your own.
Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
First, the Tour marrakech zagora 2 days begin with a hotel pick-up in Marrakech. We depart towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, passing through the Tizi Ntichka pass at 2,260m. After visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll have lunch at a traditional restaurant.
Next, we continue to Ouarzazate, where we’ll explore Kasbah Taourirte and Atlas Cinema Studios, known as “The Hollywood of Africa.” Afterward, we visit a Berber village in Agdez, then drive through Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and Kasbahs.
In the late afternoon, we arrive at Zagora, where your camel trek begins, followed by a beautiful sunset. Finally, you’ll spend the night in a Nomad Berber Tent, with dinner served at the camp.
Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Aït Benhaddou– Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
In the morning, after having a sunrise breakfast, we will break camp and ride our camels out of the desert and back to our original point of departure, before starting on our way back towards Ouarzazate to Marrakech. We will stop along the route for lunch or tea. Once you arrive in Marrakech, you will be dropped off at your hotel, and this will complete your Tour marrakech zagora 2 days and end our services.
