Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Todgha Gorges – Erfoud
4 days morocco geological tour will start from Marrakech when we pick you up from your hotel and travel. So we depart Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou through Tizi Ntichka pass an elevation of 2260m (6,867 ft.).
Visit the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is a spectacular fortified village (Ksar). Lunch will be in a traditional restaurant in Ait Benhaddou.

In the afternoon, we drive to Boumalne Dades via the Valley of the Roses is known for the extensive harvest of roses, used in the production of perfume. More than, rose water and cosmetic products. After, we continue on to the Dades Valley.
We will then take the car to travel the road of a thousand Kasbah, through the village of Tinghir, with its Jewish quarter, reaching the Todra in time to visit the famous Gorges of Todgha.
After we will take the direction to Erfoud, the deserts’ door. You will pass through Tinjdad’s palm groves. Tinjdad, with his old underground irrigation system, and Touroug palm plantations reaching. Then we crossed Jorf. After 20 km we’ll arrive in Erfoud where you will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis. Dinner and overnight in Erfoud in the local hotel/riad.
Day 2: Visit of Boutchrafine sites – museum – fossils market – Erg Chebbi
Get up at 9 AM in the morning enjoy a Moroccan breakfast before taking the road to ELKHAMLIYA the black village is famous for Gnawa music. We will stop for a drink of mint tea, after taking the road to the CRINOIDS QUARRY. The Crinoids Quarry was the first fossils site on the earth for the discovery of the FLOUR OF SEA, over 350 million years ago.
Here you will see the workers under earth searching about which gives you the opportunity to contact the workers directly. After we will visit the QUARRY OF FOSSILIZED MARBLE containing Orthossaire, Ammonite, Goniatite, and Sea Stars. It’s the biggest load in the world. Then to the QUARRY OF DINOSAURS and to other fossilized animal sites. Also you will have a visit to the House of trilobite where you can find all sorts of Trilobites.
We will have a typical picnic lunch with a charming geological view before heading to Erfoud to the center of fossils workers of all sorts of fossils where you can buy fossils at an affordable price. Then we will visit two different museums where you find all sorts of fossils, for example, shark teeth, crinoids, trilobites, fossilized marbles, ammonites, trilobites…
After you, we will travel on to the Merzouga Desert. The camels will be packed with food and blankets, as well as the other necessities needed for this one-night stay in the desert. Also, We will trek our way through the sand to a small Oasis in the middle of the dunes.
Here is where you will be spending your evening, where the sky is clear and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. Your accommodations this evening will be camping in a Nomad Berber Tent.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Taouz – Merzouga
Breakfast at 9 in the morning, then we head directly to TAOUZ – the last village in the desert, to visit the engravings on the rock that follows for a long time until now. Then the quartz and vanadinite MINERAL QUARRY, then the return to Merzouga, and after a shower, we will take camels crossing the dunes to sleep in a sky full of stars and sleeping in tents.
Get up at 8 mornings, taking the road to Merzouga desert with a stop for lunch in ERFOUD CITY (the gate to the desert), then we will continue to Merzouga to discover the FOSSILIZED MARBLE of ORTHOSAIRE, AMMONITE, GONIATITE, and ability to visit the ENGRAVERS in the rocks in (TAOUZ TOWN), dinner and accommodation in Merzouga hotel /riad.
Day 4 : Merzouga – ouarzazate – Marrakech
Get up at 8 morning and take the road to Marrakech crossing the geological places like alnif the place famous for nice trilobite. lunch in AGDEZ OASIS, dinner and accommodation in Marrakech hotel, end of your 4 days morocco geological tour . End of our services.
