A tour 15 days desert tour from Marrakech offers a chance to experience Morocco's vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. Starting in Marrakech, you'll explore its lively markets, palaces, and gardens. The next day, you'll journey into the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and enjoying breathtaking scenery. On the third day, the tour takes you through desert landscapes, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass and visiting the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou kasbah, a famous film location. Day four includes a camel trek into the desert, a sunset over the dunes, and a night in a Berber camp. Next, you'll visit Erfoud, known for its fossils, and the traditional market in Rissani, before heading to Fez for the final destination.
Day 1: Marrakech
Firstly, 15 days desert tour from Marrakech will start at the airport in Marrakech. Assitance and trensfert you to your Riad /Hotel. Your accommodation(s) and dinner will be in a hotel / Riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait benhaddou – Ouarzazete – Dades Valley
After your breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel and travel. So we depart Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou through Tizi Ntichka pass an elevation of 2260m (6,867 ft.). Visit the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is a spectacular fortified village (Ksar). Lunch will be in a traditional restaurant in Ait Benhaddou. Likewise, we continue to Ouarzazate, visit Kasbah Taourirte and the cinema studios of Atlas & CLA Studios where many movies were produced thus being called The Hollywood of Africa like Lawrence of Arabia, Sahara … In the afternoon, we drive to Boumalne Dades via the Valley of the Roses is known for the extensive harvest of roses, used in the production of perfume. More than, rose water and cosmetic products. Before we reach our small hotel located in Dades Valley. Your accommodations and dinner will in a hotel at Dades Valley
Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todgha Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Another journey starts, after an earlier breakfast you will leave your hotel to travel towards the Sahara Desert. Then we drive along the road of 1000 Kasbahs you will discover many Berber villages scattered along the way. Then, arrive at Todgha Gorges is a series of limestone river canyons in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. moreover, Tinejdad, we will have a Stop to visit a Berber village famous for its’ palms. After that Jorf Here you will stop to visit the old Canal of Irrigation. The next destination is Erfoud, which is a town in southern Morocco where you will have a stop to visit the workers of fossils and the Market of Dates. Finally, arrival at the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes From here we will go to Merzouga where you will spend the night in Hotel. Accommodation and dinner at your Hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Camp in Erg Chebbi
Earlier, after your breakfast, you will tour the area of Erg Chebbi. visiting Khamlia is a little village in the desert by the biggest dunes in Erg Chebbi; Also you will visit a Berber residence and listen to the indigenous Gnawa music, which had originated in West Africa. moreover, you will visit some deserted mines and the Oasis of the Palm Trees. equally important, you will visit the small oasis town of Rissani which is near the northwest edge of the Sahara.
This picturesque city has gained popularity, not only as of the Tafilalet capital, but also as a destination where visitors can still experience the true mystique of Morocco. in addition, visiting the famous market where you can find jewelry, souvenirs, gifts, spices, art, and crafts. Also, lunch will be a traditional Moroccan pizza called “Medfouna”. After you will come back to the hotel in Merzouga and prepare for your journey to Erg Chebbi to take a camel ride back to the desert camp where you will enjoy a second night under the stars.
Day 5 Merzouga – Erfoud
After breakfast we come back to our hotel, we change the camels by the 4×4 after we take the road to Erfoud via boutcharafine, we visit the old site of fossils, then we access a Berber village. after lunch, we will have 2 hours of walking to discover the largest oasis of tizimi where you find thousands of dates trees. moreover, the dinner in a typical restaurant and the accommodation in your Hotel.
Day 6: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Midelt
After you have completed your breakfast, we continue 15 days desert tour from Marrakech we leave Erfoud to travel towards Midelt. En route, we will stop at Ziz Valley to view the biggest grove of dates, which allows you to take amazing pictures. After we will continue on to Errachidia, the next destination is Er-Rich a small Berber village.
Midelt is one of Morocco’s principle cities for the mining of several minerals as well as a market for agriculture for an area extending across the region. This region is best known for apples and a wide variety of garden vegetables. Your accommodations and dinner will be in a riad/hotel.
Day 7: Midelt – Cedre Forest – Meknes
After breakfast in your hotel, we will depart Midelt to travel towards Meknes. First, we will stop in Azrou: Cèdre Gouraud, which is a forest, in the woodland area, in the Middle Atlas Mountain Range in Morocco. The forest is truly remarkable and a complete contrast from the Sahara Desert. This beautified cedar forest is home to the endangered Barbary Apes, which are actually monkeys. Once you arrive you won’t have to look far to see the Barbary Apes, as they are not shy to come out of the forest to greet you. This will be a good opportunity to take amazing pictures of the timberland in Morocco. Your dinner will be in your riad/hotel this evening.
Day 8: Meknes – Moulay Idriss – Meknes
After breakfast in your riad/hotel, we will start our travel to Meknes, one of the four Imperial cities, is where you will visit the famous El Hedim Square. furthermore, the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail and the Old Medina. You will also view the Bab Mansour, an iconic gateway known for its geometric ornamentation, devotional inscriptions, and marble columns.
Moulay Idriss: While in Meknes you will visit Moulay Idriss or Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, considered the holiest city of Morocco. Just off the main square is the Mausoleum of Idriss I, a sacred destination that is open only to Muslims. While in Meknes, we will stop for lunch before leaving to travel to Volubilis.
Volubilis: In our route, we will stop to visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. The ruins remained substantially intact until an earthquake devastated them in the mid-18th century. The Arch of Caracalla is one of Volubilis’ most distinctive sights, situated at the end of the city’s main street, the Decumanus Maximus. Also, Your accommodations and dinner will be back in your raid/hotel.
Day 9: Meknes – Larache – Asilah
After breakfast, we will depart from Meknes to travel toward Asilah.
Larache: We will stop for a visit to Larache, a relaxed and easy-going town. Here the summertime visitors are primary Moroccan tourist who comes to enjoy the beaches on the banks of the Loukkos River. Also, it offers many famous areas to visit like the Lixus (Roman Ruins), Port Lixus, Plaza de Espana, Torres Park, and so on.
After that Asilah is a town on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, south of Tangier. Its old town, or medina, is enclosed by well-preserved 15th-century ramparts and gates, built by colonial Portuguese. The medina is an art hub, known for its murals and Moussem Culturel International d’Asilah, an annual festival. Venues include the exhibition space Centre de Hassan II Rencontres Internationales and early-20th-century Palais Raissouni. Your accommodations and dinner will be in a riad/hotel.
Day 10: Asilah
We continue our 15 days desert tour from Marrakech, After breakfast in your hotel, you will have this day to explore the city on your own. Your dinner will be in your riad/hotel this evening.
Day 11: Asilah – Tangier
After breakfast, we depart from Asilah to travel to Tangier is a major city in northwestern Morocco. Also, its located on the Maghreb coast at the western entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. Here there are many notable landmarks which you can visit. Your accommodations and dinner will be in a riad/hotel.
Day 12: Tétouan – Chefchaouen
Tétouan: the Berber name meaning “the eyes”. Tétouan is one of the two major ports of Morocco on the Mediterranean Sea. Here you will visit the Medina (old town) where you will find people performing their craftsmanship, like weavers, jewelers, and leather workers. moreover, you will see the Kasbah, The Royal Palace, Tétouan Church, and Mosque. The inner city is very characteristic and traditional.
Day 13: Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you will have a free day to explore the blue city also is one of the best cities in morocco by the amazing small street and landscapes…Your accommodations and dinner will be in a riad/hotel.
Day 14: Chefchaouen
After breakfast in your hotel, you will have this day to explore the city on your own. Also, This nice blue city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue-washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. Your dinner will be in your riad/hotel this evening.
Day 15: Chefchaouen – Fez
After breakfast in your raid/hotel, we will transfer you to Fez. Once you arrive at Fez you will be dropped off at your hotel. End of 15 days desert tour from Marrakech . End our services.
